![]() Center For Ocean Science Education Excellence (COSEE) Florida Research Experience for Pre-Service Teachers (REPT) Program 2014 What is REPT?
The COSEE Florida Research Experience for Pre-Service Teachers (REPT) Program offers students and recent graduates in science education (ones that have not yet started a teaching position) the opportunity to learn first-hand about the process of scientific discovery and research. Students from IRSC, Edison State College, and Broward College will work with local scientists on marine science research projects for a 7 week time period this summer. Students will be paid a stipend, funded by COSEE Florida and the National Science Foundation. Are you a pre-service teacher who is interested in an amazing research experience? Funded through a National Science Foundation (NSF) Grant, IRSC COSEE Florida's partners include Florida Institute of Technology, the Smithsonian Marine Station at Fort Pierce, and Ocean Research and Conservation Association (ORCA).
