It's that time again... join me and Keep Lee County Beautiful to remove harmful and unsightly debris from our community!
WHAT: Earth Day "Trash Bash" Community Cleanup WHEN: Saturday April 18 2015, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm The Executive Director of Keep Lee County Beautiful will meet us at 8:50 am the morning of the event to give out supplies, to discuss safety and describe the area to be cleaned. If you have a pair of work/gardening gloves please bring them... gloves are always the first thing to run out! Water, snacks, trash bags and latex gloves will be provided. WHERE: Meet at BB&T Bank on the corner of Daniels Parkway & Fiddlesticks Blvd. BB&T Bank 9090 Daniels Parkway Ft Myers, FL 33912 This is a community event so you are welcome to bring friends and family. Kids are welcome, but please note we will be on the side of the road and it will not be safe for young children (toddler age). I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday morning! We’re attempting the largest Ocean Float ever. Lets make a wake for the clean waters movement! When: Sunday, July 13, 2014. Where: Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina: 275 Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931 Why: Clean water is important to both the environment and the economy. Cost: Admission is only $10 for the general public; guests of Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina registered under Special Vacation Package gain free entry. Proceeds from the admission fees will be divided among the 3 chosen organizations: Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF), Sanibel Sea School & The ![]() VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - service hours available Sat & Sun, Feb 8 & 9 2014 10am - 5pm (shifts available) READ ON FOR DETAILS & CONTACT TRISH TO SIGN UP KLCB, Inc. has once again been selected to be the beneficiary of the beverage cart at the 8th Annual Coconut Point Art Fest on Saturday, February 8th and Sunday, February 9th. We are currently seeking 8 – 10 volunteers, willing to work all day either/both days from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM or for 2 hour shifts either/both days. A KLCB representative will be on hand at all times to sign community service paperwork. Coconut Point Mall will host the Coconut Point Art Festival. This show is being produced by Howard Alan Events, the same producer of the event that takes place in Coconut Point in December. Fine art, music and more will occupy the streets for two fun-filled days. Grab your sunscreen and walking shoes to stroll amidst life-size sculptures, spectacular paintings, one-of-a-kind jewels, photography, ceramics, and much more. KLCB will be offering Coca Cola products in the official Coke Wagon. Donations received support the many programs implemented and supported by Keep Lee County Beautiful, Inc. The event hosts 50,000+ participants and is a great way to combine arts/culture with environmental community service.
