THE FRANCIS BAILEY SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS AND OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS Offered by THE SANIBEL-CAPTIVA LIONS CLUB http://www.sanibelcaptivalions.org/scholarships Each year the Sanibel-Captiva Lions Club offers to qualified students the Francis Bailey Scholarship Award(s). These scholarships are funded by income from the Francis Bailey Scholarship Fund. This INSTRUCTIONS BROCHURE contains policies governing the club’s scholarship programs and the criteria for the scholarship awards - SEE PAGE TWO FOR ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS ![]() The purpose of this award program is to encourage students to pursue a degree in environmental studies or a related biological science or natural resources. Funds may be used for the educational institution’s tuition, books, supplies and equipment, or technical materials. Applicants need to fill out only ONE application to be considered for all of the scholarships. Below is the scholarship application: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships (includes internships) to college sophomore students majoring in STEM disciplines related to oceanic and atmospheric science, research, or technology, and supportive of the purposes of NOAA's programs and mission, e.g., biological, social and physical sciences; mathematics; engineering; and computer and information sciences.
NOAA is accepting applications from students who will have Official Junior status in Fall 2014. Please share with your students!
